Follow package directions for brownie mix and set aside.
In another bowl, mix cream cheese with butter, eggs, sugar
and vanilla. Pour 1/2 brownie mixture into a greased 9x12
casserole dish. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the
brownie mixture. Add the remaining brownie mixture on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
If making bite size cup cakes: Use cupcake liners and follow
the same directions and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes
or until done in the center.
The Secret:
When adding the last layer of brownie mix, spoon the brownie
mixture into the sides of casserole dish first and then
in the center. These brownies can be made several days
ahead, stored in airtight containers and refrigerated. |
